Terms of Service | Kirei

Welcome to Kirei. These terms ("Terms") govern your use of www.kireico.com (the "Site") and any purchases you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Kirei is operated by Kirei Co. ("Kirei", "we", "us", "our"), based in Australia.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or place an order. By using the Site you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is true and accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately at security@kireico.com.

3. Orders & pricing

All prices on the Site are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise marked.
Prices and product availability can change without notice. We will always honour the price shown at the moment you completed checkout.
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send the order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to cancel an order before fulfilment if it was placed in error (e.g. obvious pricing mistake), is suspected of fraud, or violates these Terms. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
We do not charge GST on international orders. Australian orders include GST where applicable.

4. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. By placing an order you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the total amount shown at checkout to your selected payment method.

5. Shipping & delivery

We ship to the address you provide at checkout. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. They are estimates only — actual delivery times can vary depending on the carrier and your location.

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the package as delivered. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, contact us at hello@kireico.com and we will work with the carrier to resolve it.

6. Returns & refunds

We want you to love your Kirei products. If something isn't right, you have the following options:

Change of mind: you can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (less shipping). You pay return shipping.
Faulty or damaged item: we'll replace it or refund you in full, and we cover return shipping. Please email us with photos within 14 days of delivery.
Wrong item received: we'll send the correct item immediately and arrange return of the wrong one at our expense.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the return.

7. Australian Consumer Law

If you are in Australia, our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer guarantee, warranty, or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Kirei name, logo, product names, photography, illustrations, copy, and code — is owned by Kirei or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use any of it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Personal, non-commercial use (e.g. saving a product photo for your own reference) is fine.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Site to break any law or someone else's rights.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our systems, or other users' accounts.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the Site without our written permission.
Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information.
Interfere with the operation of the Site (e.g. denial-of-service attempts, injecting malicious code).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to Section 7 above), Kirei is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced via a site banner. By continuing to use the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be handled by the courts of Victoria, Australia, except where local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
